old blue boys getting together....

Gilby's in town. He flew in with his kids minus his wife from San Francisco. Jun arranged for us to get together last night. We ate dinner at Teriyaki Boy at Eastwood in Libis. Gilby is losing his hair. At least, his haircut fits his balding pate. None of that comb over thingy that lots of balding men are famous for. Jun still has his thick hair but he confessed that he dyes his hair. Jun looks older than us. He also married younger. He's got an 18 year old daughter who happens to look like his gorgeous wife. IT IS A VERY GOOD THING HIS DAUGHTER LOOKS NOTHING LIKE HIM!Lol. Producing a daughter that is so so cute is his greatest acheivement in life. Lol. And his cute daughter studies at THE ATENEO!

Gilby, Jun and I are old college friends from the Ateneo. We had different majors. Jun is a Business Management Major and is very entrepreneurial. He's the richest among all of us. Gilby is a Com Arts Major and at an early age settled in San Francisco. Gilby used to work for Schwab as an investment professional. He's retired and leaves off his interest and dividends. He's got a nice nest egg stashed away. I was an economics and history major. I wanted to teach but as my now deceased dad told me "you have champagne taste and teaching gives you beer money. You'll need to earn serious money if you want to teach." So now I find myself in business trying to earn that serious money.

We were loud and raucous. We talked about old college friends, old shenanigans and old loves. We caught up with each other's lives and we talked about our future plans. As if 45 year olds have lots of years to look forward to. Gilby is full of optimism because his nest egg keeps on growing. He's made very good investments in his portfolio. Jun just keeps on making money and he's kinda worried about his cute 18 year old daughter. It seems that lots of boys are courting her. I told them I wanted to put up a beach house in Anilao, Mabini, Batangas with a resort beside it. I'd like to really retire there and dive all day. I like the water and the mountains. But there's more to do in the water.

Its funny how the three of us met in college. We were never classmates. We belonged to the same batch but we had different friends. Jun hanged out with the provincial crowd, Gilby with the artsy fartsy crowd and I with the social set crowd. We met when we were juniors in a party. We had common friends and we all found out that we had the same stupid teacher in a physcology subject. And we had to submit the same paper. so we decided to get together and do the paper together. And from then on, we were friends. We were one of the 1st people to discover Puerto Galera when it was all huts and 10 bucks bought you a room. We were also the 1st to discover Boracay when it still had no electricity and a room was 10 bucks. Meals were like 2 bucks and Boracay had no running water. We defacated in holes! We liked to travel. We went to places like Isabela and Basilan and Sulo. We never did get to Palawan though but it was in the itinerary. After college, we still kept closer tabs with one another. Jun was the 1st to marry. I was his sidekick when he courted his wife. Gilby left for SF after 3 years promising his GF that he'll be back to marry her. He didn't come back to marry her and I had to comfort her when she found out that he married someone else. Up to now his old GF is still not married.

We transferred to Jack's Loft and we did some serious drinking. The two of them were oggling really nice, cute, young girls. I was oggling nice, cute, young guys. Lol. Gilby wanted to go to Airforce One. But when I told him it will cost him about 20 to 30 grand and true to his 'kuripot' nature, he backed out. Besides he didn't bring his protection and his viagra. And that elicited a lot of denial that he needs viagra.

Alman posted a comment in my blog. Lots of people reads my blog but very very few posts any comments. So far, its the porn ladies and Alman. Lol.

If Alman reads this "Please post my blog on Mosscakes' blog on the "cut and paste" issue. Thanks." I can't post in Mosscakes blog because he does not allow anonymous comments.
