Finally, that crisis in Bicutan is over!

As I was going to work yesterday, I tuned in to DZMM to catch the news. That's when I heard about the takeover of the Bicutan prison by the terrorist group, Abu Sayyaf prisoners.

Another Abu Sayaff criminal act! When is this going to stop? What is the government going to do about it?

As the day wore on, the governement seems to be indecisive on what to do. The initial reports indicated that there were no hostages. What then is the government waiting for?

Night came and the whole drama was still acting itself out. Numerous negotiations. Unreasonable demands. The government seems to be contradicting itself. The Philippine Government says that it won't negotiate with terrorists. Yet it is doing so now. The government admonished the media that media people are giving media access to terrorists. Yet it is conisdering giving media access to these terrorists.

Today, I heard that the goverment finally came to its senses and launched an attack. Finally. 16 terrorists died and I will not grieve for them. As usual, there are others in the media that are terrorist lovers. If I had my way, I'd shoot them too!

Why did this government take so long in subduing the terrorists? Methinks playing politics that a huge role in this. The government wants toshow to Muslims that it wants a peaceful solution and is exploring every alternative. Muslims are only 10% of the population and is a minority in this country. They are the terrorists. Why should goverment show these terrorists any sympathies???

Muslims don't respect any government that does not show strenght. It understands only strenght.

Well, its over. I hope the governement would be more decisive in the future. Terrorists are animals and they should be hunted and killed like animals.

Oscars??? Hmmmm....

It's the Oscars once again. Somehow I don't feel that as excited in watching the Oscar's as in the previous years. I enjoyed watching "THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST'. a film made by Mel Gibson, I thought it was a very good film. It was not nominated for an Oscar Award.

That kinda dampened my spirits. The film was good. It had the highest grossing movie in all time. The story of Mel Gibson putting out this movie is heroic. Against all odds and criticisms, he pulled it off. From labelling him anti semitic to fanatic, he took it all in stride and bet all he had for this movie to come out. THAT STORY IN ITSELF IS A MOVIE OF EPIC PROPORTIONS.

I am a Christian belonging to the Catholic faith. I am not religious although I do go through the rituals the Catholic church requires me to do. I am a worldly person. I enjoy the finer things in life and I do help out in the community I belong in. I respect all religions and have intellectually studied them. But there are historical facts that cannot be ignored or glossed upon because it happened.

Some Jews have called "The Passion of the Chirst" as anti-semitic. That's a lot of crap. Jesus Christ was a Jew who preached to the Jews about God and salvation. The Jews rejected him and in cahoots with the Romans tortured Him and put Him to death. It happened. Its a fact. What is so anti-semitic about that? During WWII the Holocaust happened. That is a fact too. I didnt hear the movie "Schindler's List" criticized as anti-German.

Methinks Hollywood is dominated by Jews who are anti everything. Methinks Hollywood got peeved that Mel Gibson actually succeeded in producing and making tons of money from this movie.
